Step 1:
Cut the Beadalon into seven 30cm lengths.
|
Step 2:

Place three strands through a crimp leaving a 6cm overhang of wire, then squeeze the crimp flat with your pliers.
|
Step 3:

Thread the following beads onto the first strand in the order below:
- 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 2 x 5301 4mm Smoky Topaz
- 3 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Smoky Topaz
- 3 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 23 Smoky Topaz are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads.
Tip: To prevent the beads from sliding off, attach a bead stopper to the completed end as you commence the next strand.
|
Step 4:

Thread the following beads onto the second strand in the order below:
- 10 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Dark Red Coral
- 4 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Dark Red Coral
And then repeat the order of 2 to 4 above and continue until 15 Dark Red Coral are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads.
|
Step 5:

Thread the following beads onto the third strand in the order below:
- 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Light Colorado Topaz
- 2 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 2 x 5301 4mm Light Colorado Topaz
- 2 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 25 Light Colorado Topaz are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads. |
Step 6:
Plait the three completed strands by taking one of the side strands and placing it over the middle strand. Continuing plaiting the strands approximately 12 times, finishing with the three strands in the same order as they started. |
|
Step 7:
Once plaited, place a crimp through all three strands and pull them tightly so that the crimp is hard up against the strung beads. |
Step 8:

Repeat Step 2 with three more strands of Beadalon (you should have one strand remaining on completion). On strand one thread the following beads in the order below:
- 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Light Colorado Topaz
- 5 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Light Colorado Topaz
- 5 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 13 Light Colorado Topaz are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads. |
Step 9:

Thread the following beads onto the second strand in the order below:
- 10 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Olivine
- 3 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Olivine
- 3 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 17 Olivine are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Dark Amethyst Seed Beads.
|
Step 10:

Thread the following beads onto the second strand in the order below:
- 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Smoky Topaz
- 2 x Dark Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Smoky Topaz
- 2 x Dark Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 21 Smoky Topaz are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads.
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 to plait the three strands you have just completed and finish off with a crimp.
|
Step 11:

Crimp the last piece of wire at 6cm from one end. Thread the following beads onto the third strand in the order below:
- 10 x Bronze Iris Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Amethyst
- 10 x Dark Bronze Iris Seed Beads
- 1 x 5301 4mm Amethyst
- 10 x Bronze Iris Seed Beads
And then repeat the order of 2 to 5 above and continue until 8 Amethyst are used. Finish off this row with 10 x Bronze Iris Seed Beads.
Now crimp the other end of the wire keeping all threaded beads tightly together so that they don't run freely along the wire.
|
 |
Step 12:
Wind the single strand back and forth between the two plaited groups from Steps 6 and 9. |
Step 13:

At each end you should now have three groups of wire, two of which include three strands. Thread a crimp onto each end of these groups of wire and then bring the ends back through the crimp to form a loop, ie you will now use three crimps - one on each group. Squeeze the crimp closed with your pliers. Repeat this step to finish off the other ends of the wire groups so that you have three crimped loops.
Note: The photos used for the following steps do not show the wire with beads threaded, so that you can see these steps illustrated more clearly and without the clutter of beads in the photo. |
Step 14:

This step will use a two inch piece of wire (headpin with head removed) to make a wrapped loop to secure the three looped ends from Step 13. Note only one loop is shown in the photo, however you should thread all three together onto the one piece of wire.
Firstly, bend the end of the wire on a 45 degree angle. Now bend the wire back over itself as shown in step two of the photo. Attach all three crimped loops from Step 13 through this loop that you have created. This will now be wrapped to hold all three loops together and prepare for the toggle. |
Step 15:

This step will use a wire twisting technique to wrap the wire. Hold the free end with one pair of pliers and, using a second pair of Flat nose pliers, twist loops around to create a wrapped finish. Do this around four times to ensure is remains secure. |
Step 16:

Thread the cone through the free end of the wire to cover and hide the wrapped loops you have just created. Now repeat Step 15 to secure on side of the Toggle using the wire twisting technique. |
Step 17:
One end of the bracelet is now complete. Steps 13 to 16 should now be repeated on the other end to secure the final side of the Toggle. Once this has been completed, your project is ready! |
